The Origin

Built by Leaders Who Saw the Gap Between Data and Decisions

Indranil Mukherjee spent two decades in enterprise technology strategy, watching manufacturers drown in dashboards that showed what was happening but never explained why. Across steel, pharma, automotive, and chemicals, the pattern was identical: predictive models flagged anomalies, operations teams scrambled, and root causes remained buried in disconnected data silos.

The insight behind Tattva Twins came from asking a simple question: what if industrial AI didn't just predict failures, but could explain the causal chain behind them? What if a digital twin could trace a quality deviation back to the exact combination of temperature, pressure, and raw material variance that triggered it — and prescribe the precise intervention to fix it?

To make that vision real, Indranil brought together Sutirtha Bhattacharya, whose 20+ years in designing complex visual systems made explainable AI actually explainable — and Dhrubajyoti Biswas, whose 25 years of enterprise architecture expertise built the robust technical backbone that turns causal models into production-grade decision systems. Together, they founded Tattva Twins — named after the Sanskrit word Tattva, meaning fundamental truth or reality — to build digital twins that reveal the fundamental causal truth of industrial processes.
